500Legends

The 500 Legends club is for all those who have completed the L100 event 5 times or more and they are honoured with a 500 legends slate trophy. The concept was born many years ago, when slate was cheap and we didn’t think that many people would be daft enough to do it… how wrong we were. A total of 78 people have been awarded the slate, consisting of 73 men and 5 women.

Matt Neale still stands on the top of the table with 13 Lakeland 100 finishes in the 14 year event history. Jackie Stretton (who along with Sharon Sullivan became the first women to join the club – both pictured) now stands at the top of the table with 7 Lakeland 100 finishes. Both Jackie and Matt are on the start list in 2023.

Below is the list of 26 people who have completed 4 Lakeland 100 events and hope to go home with the 2023 slate. There are 25 men and 1 woman on the verge of becoming life long Lakeland Legends.

We wish you all the best of luck and hope to see you on your feet when the sound of the proclaimers kicks off the presentation. If you believe you (or someone else) should be on that list, then please email organiser@lakeland100.com
