Montane Trail Ultra, 20 & 10 Ullswater Way, 8th June 2024

The Montane Trail Ultra, 20 & 10 Ullswater Way starts and finishes at Jenkins Field in Glenridding. The brand new for 2024 Ultra Distance follows the stunning Ullswater Way route and includes both the Lowther Loop and the Dalemain Loop to make the course 33.5 miles. The Trail 20 route follows the same stunning Ullswater Way on a complete 21.5 mile lap of Ullswater but does not include the additional Lowther/Dalemain loops. The Trail 10 starts from Pooley Bridge and runs the final 10 miles of the route back to Glenridding.

How much to enter:
The cost to enter the 33.5 mile Ultra distance is £69, the 21.5 miles distance is £39 and the 10 miles distance is £32.

For the Trail 10, all runners must Register at Race HQ at Glenridding before heading to the start at Pooley Bridge but runners have the option of the Event Coach transport from Registration at Race HQ in Glenridding to the Trail 10 start at Pooley Bridge The Event Coach transport is £9 and this can be booked when entering the event. The Event Coach transport is optional but if required must be booked in advance, there is no on the day option as seats have to be pre-booked. Runners must ensure they are able to get to the Race HQ at Glenridding to register and then to the Start at Pooley Bridge either using own transport or by pre-booking a seat on the Event Coach.

Runners will need to carry all of the specific items on the compulsory kit list and must also be 16 years on the day of the race for the Trail 20 or Trail 10 or 18 years on the day of the race for the Trail Ultra. Entries close either when the event is full or midday on the Thursday prior to race day.

Can I run with my dog:
Unfortunately it is not possible to run with a dog in this event. They are more than welcome as supporters ,with well behaved owners, at the start /finish area but please do not take part in the race with your dog.

Is there a Time Limit/Cut Off:
We have a time limit/cut off for the Ultra Distance both for the safety of our runners and our team of volunteer marshals. Ultra runners must reach the Pooley Bridge Feed Station at 18.5 miles by 2:30pm (6.5 hrs) then reach Aira Force Feed Station at 30.5 miles by 6:30pm (10.5 hrs) and finally reach the Finish at Glenridding by 7:30pm (11.5 hrs).
