As always, we’ll have free camping for competitors at the 2023 event. This year we had more spectators than ever and we need to make some changes to ensure that the camping in manageable going forwards.
The traditional rule of 1 car and tent per competitor will apply, your partner / children can join you if they fit in that tent, which should be no bigger than a large car.
Caravans and camper vans will still be allowed on the bottom field, but we supply drinking water only, so it’s not acceptable to empty the bowser to fill your shower tank. Bring your own water. The same rules apply as above, it’s for runners, their partners and children only, not extended family. There’s no electricity hook up.
If friends, parents or extended family intend to come and support, they’ll need to find alternative accommodation. Coniston Sports & Social Centre provide camping in the village and have great toilet and shower facilities, as well as a function room and bar. They are now taking bookings for the full weekend.
If you would like to book, please email:
